A key mission of the Center is to accelerate translational research by encouraging commercialization of the vast research potential available in the State.  The Translational Research Awards program will stimulate applied research in areas with significant commercialization potential.

The Center's awards will be available to early stage research that has a demonstrated market potential, fills an unmet market need, and has an identifiable path to commercialization. The purpose of these proof-of-principal awards is not only to speed the development of technology, but also to develop researchers and laboratories that focus not just on basic research but consider and pursue the successful commercialization of science. 

NOTE: Applications require two forms, available for download through the links below.  These forms are to be submitted electronically, and can be submitted as either Word or PDF documents.  The two applications, however, MUST be submitted as separate files.
